PARKING AND SHUTTLE INFORMATION

COLLEGE CEREMONIES AND HOODING
May 9, 10, 11, 2007

Special parking and shuttle arrangements will be provided to support the college ceremonies and hoodings scheduled on May 9, 10, and 11, 2007.   Graduates and their guests may park free in university student parking areas throughout the campus.   Please avoid parking in staff parking areas.

The 11th Street and White Avenue Garages provide close proximity parking for events scheduled in the Knoxville Convention Center.   A special area will be reserved for handicapped parking in the 11th Street Garage.  Shuttle service, which is also handicapped accessible, will be provided to the Knoxville Convention Center on Thursday, May 10th and Friday, May 11th.

Shuttle information is detailed below.

Shuttle Route A:    White Avenue Garage to 11th Street Garage to Knoxville Convention Center.  Shuttle service every 4-6 minutes on Thursday, May 10th and Friday, May 11th beginning two hours before first scheduled ceremony.   For complete details visit http://web.utk.edu/~pso.

Thursday shuttle hours:   7:00 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday shuttle hours:   6:30 a.m.  to 6:00 p.m.

Shuttle Route B:  G-10 to 11th Street Garage to Knoxville Convention Center.
Shuttle service every 5-7 minutes on Thursday, May 10th and Friday, May 11th.  For complete details visit

Thursday, May 10th shuttle hours: 7:00 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday, May 11th shuttle hours 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Other Service:  The T Service     http://web.utk.edu/~pso/psot.html
East-West route will be in service (7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) with service every 10-12 minutes.  Passengers may transfer at the Transfer Center to the G-10 shuttle to the Convention Center

The T Access and Access/Link will operate on full schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
