Commencement Spring 2010
Commencement is a joyous occasion for graduates, parents, family members, and friends. We want to make sure you enjoy every minute of the ceremony without having to worry about details like parking and seating. We also want you to be well-informed about what a graduate needs to do before the big day. This Web site contains lots of information about the commencement ceremony.

Date, Time and Location
The University college ceremonies will begin May 12, 2010 at Thompson- Boling Assembly Center and Arena. Please refer to the listing of Spring 2010 college ceremonies for your college information.
Preparation

Please contact your college for information on submitting your RSVP to attend. Contact personnel are listed for each college (see link above).

- Financial Matters
Graduating students must settle all financial obligations with the University of Tennessee. The University is authorized to withhold diplomas and transcripts for any outstanding financial fees reported by a department of the University. - Student Loan Exit Interview
If the graduate has a University of Tennessee Loan or a Federal Perkins Student Loan, he/she must complete an exit interview in the Bursar's Office, Room 211 Student Services Building, before April 30, 2010. Please call the Student Loan Department at (865) 974-4497 to schedule an appointment. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Commencement Day
- Parking Information - Graduates and their guests may park free in university student parking areas throughout the campus. Please avoid parking in staff parking areas.
