Steps to Graduation for Undergraduates

• 1 - Verify that the University has your correct semester and permanent address.
• 2 - Submit your application for graduation by the published deadline date.
• 3 - Review your Degree Audit Report with your academic advisor.
• 4 - Carefully review materials sent to you from the Graduation Office.
• 5 - Purchase your cap & gown if you plan to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.
• 6 - RSVP to reserve your seat at Commencement.
• 7 - If you have UT Student Loans and/or Federal Perkins loans, attend a required student loan exit interview.
• 8 - Clear all financial obligations with the University.
• 9 - Attend the Commencement Ceremony (optional).
• 10 - Your diploma will be mailed to you.
