Review
your Degree Audit Report with your academic advisor.
The Graduation Office will send an audit of your academic progress
to your semester address once your application has been received and
processed. The audit will list courses that you have taken and requirements
that need to be fulfilled in order to successfully complete your degree.
You should review your audit with your academic advisor to ensure
that you will meet all graduation requirements by your projected graduation
date.
The University of Tennessee is currently moving
from the traditional, manual form of auditing a student's progress
to a new auditing system referred to as DARS, or Degree Audit Reporting
System. The type of audit that you will receive (manual or DARS)
is dependent on whether DARS programming is completed for your degree
program at the time of your application for graduation. For a list
of degree programs currently available on DARS, visit the DARS Website
at: dars.shtml.
If you determine that you will not meet the graduation
requirements by the graduation date for which you have applied,
contact the Graduation Office in 201 Student Services Building,
(865) 974-2101, to cancel your application.
If you have cancelled a previous application for
graduation, you must reapply by filling out another graduation application
for the term you will actually complete your degree requirements.
Note that you may print your own DARS Report in
the Office of the University Registrar in 209 Student Services Building
and in some Advising Centers. It is suggested that you regularly
print your DARS Report to check academic progress. Contact your
academic advisor with any questions--Advising
Centers.
