What if I am not able to complete my enrollment in a course?

If you are unable to complete enrollment in a course, then it is important to officially withdraw/drop from that class.

DROPPING/WITHDRAWING FROM A FULL SESSION COURSE FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS

After the 84th day	Present a request, signed by the instructor(s) and adviser, with documented evidence of extenuating circumstances to the Office of Graduate Student Services, P105 Andy Holt Tower.

After the 84th day	No drops are permitted
Students are allowed four drops during their academic career (until a bachelor’s degree is earned). Students holding a bachelor’s degree who return to pursue a second bachelor’s degree are allowed four additional drops. Students pursuing more than one major or degree simultaneously are not allowed additional drops beyond the four available drops. After the 84th day, no drops are permitted. From the 85th day to the last day of classes, students still have the option of withdrawing from the university (dropping all courses). Withdrawing from the university (dropping all courses) does not impact a student’s four allotted drops. Courses may be dropped on the web (https://myutk.utk.edu/).
