7. Make sure you have successfully completed any required prerequisites and are enrolled in any required co-requisites.Check the Undergraduate or Graduate Catalog to determine if a course you are registering for has a prerequisite or co-requisite. If you fail a course that is a prerequisite for a course you have registered for, then you must drop that course and retake the course you failed. In some cases, if you made a D in a prerequisite, it is advisable to take that course again. If you do not make the necessary changes in your schedule, an involuntary drop may result after all opportunities to add another course have passed. Prerequisite: a course you must have completed successfully before taking another course. Co-requisite: a course you must take at the same time as another course. 8. Confirm that the University (Bursar) has your correct billing address. To verify and change your address go to Circle Park Online. 9. Pay your fees AND confirm your attendance to avoid schedule cancellation!Even if your fees have been paid by financial aid or another third party, you MUST confirm your attendance. If you register by priority registration, your VOLXpress statement will be mailed to you. During final registration, please pick up your VOLXpress statement in 211 Student Services Building or 128 University Center. You may pay your account on Circle Park Online with Mastercard, Visa or Discover or by mail with a check, money order or cashier's check. The CPO system is available to accept credit card payments 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday. 10. Go to Class !!!If you do not attend the first class (or laboratory) meeting without prior arrangements with the department concerned, you may lose your space in class to other students. ***However, do not assume that you will be officially dropped from the class. It is always the responsibility of the student to drop courses not attended.*** Otherwise, you are liable for a grade of 'F' in the course and for payment of appropriate fees. If you decide not to continue your enrollment for this term (whether classes were attended or not), you must notify the Office of the University Registrar in 209 Student Services Building to complete the total withdrawal process. |
