Prospective Transfer Student General Education Information
The University of Tennessee has adopted a revision of the General Education requirements. The statement of purpose, outcomes and the list of approved General Education courses can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog 2009-2010.
Students must complete specified general education courses as part of the curriculum to earn a baccalaureate degree. Transfer students are encouraged to consult with an advisor at their home institution early in their academic planning before choosing General Education courses.
