Please limit your requests
to one form per student.
Please complete the Course Equivalency Form if you plan to take courses at another institution and want credit for these courses at UTK. Visit our Course Equivalency Tables to see the listing of course equivalencies from Tennessee community colleges. We guarantee these courses transfer to the University of Tennessee. DO NOT fill out the form if the courses are on the webpage.
Transfer Credit Policies
- Transfer grades WILL NOT affect your UTK GPA. Transfer hours are used to fulfill requirements or show that you passed the course.
- Only courses in which a C or better was earned shall be eligible for transfer credit.
- The last 30 hours of credit must be in residence at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
How to complete the equivalency form
- The form can be completed and submitted online.
- The form can be printed, completed, and sent by mail to a transfer evaluator at 209 Student Services Building, Knoxville, TN 37996.
Email response within 72 hours.
After completing coursework at another institution, please have an official transcript sent to:
