This office assists veterans and their family members in the process of applying for VA Education Benefits available under the following Chapters:

Overpayment Information

If you withdraw from or stop attending a class that you have been certified to receive benefits for, you may end up in overpayment status with the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Additionally, if you receive a grade of “NC” which is no-credit and is a non-punitive grade, you may be in overpayment as well.

Work Study Allowance

If you are interested in the work study program, you will need to complete the application and submit it to the UTKVA Office. The application is online at http://www.vba.va.gov/pubs/forms/VBA-22-8691-ARE.pdf. This position is filled on a first-come basis and space is limited. Minimum Wage.
